Did you feel Famous this week??
It really is the only way to start hump day.

However, having the double flu shot can leave you feeling
less than paparazzi-ready... and more like an extra
on (insert popular hospital tv show here).

Well, so much for the Glossy Challenge on this front page.
(Am skipping over the 'weight debate' completely.
Plus, skipping is great cardio!!
Note to self - buy skipping rope)

But, like most 30-somethings, I am super ready to view
the latest incarnation of Sex & The City : Deux.
Cue another showing of the first film
(20-something nostalgia kicking in),
and get ready to laugh/cry/lust
(read: Fashion!!!)
all over again.

Let's take a new slant this week - it can only get better, riiiight???

After a simply delightful Sunday evening with some Gals,
it is time to turn over a new leaf. Or page. Or post.

Bravely facing the workplace again
was a MASSIVE challenge for my little brain,
but I managed to own every minute of it.
(If I hadn't, my lifeless body on the shop floor
may have garnered some attention...)

Maybe life should be less like a box of chocolates
(which end up on our ass whichever way you look at it),
and more like a glossy cover.
Like a guide to the week at large.

FRIDAY = Epic Fail at Work.

No chocolate milk or smiley-face cookie
or bubblegum-bright international mag
could lift the post-haircut
and following post at-work-breakdown.

Hibernation is becoming to the puffy-eyed and ego-shattered.
So I slink off into my girly hut
and book an appointment for my brows.
TLC for the facial region = HAPPY FACE. x

Revlon Superlustrious lippy in True Red.
Maybe a little too plummy for my super fair complexion. Hmmm...
Needing to search for the ultimate lipstick colour
has led me back into the territory of coral and gold...

Cupcake Madness

A new Saturday cooking ritual has begins.
Again.
(And the Saturday afternoon 'eating of the cupcakes'
is equally exciting!)

It helps to keep the day in neat little segments;
Structure, Stability, Peace, Organisation.
Keeping the SS Cupcake on an even keel, on course,
and navigating around any nasty weather.

Still can't escape the cold that creeps in
through the cracks in the floorboards.

I feel like the smiley-face cookie looks - a bit lop-sided.
Half the week over and only a couple of glossips to show for it!

Baby - it is cold outside!
And in here where my brain is supposed to be as well!!!

Keeping it simple for cold and flu kind of Wed. Left the house without my cosy home-made essentials, so spent a hole in my pocket
(no posh wallet today...it's hanging out with some moths...).

All the remedies are here - Red Bull (I know!), cookie, chocolate croissant, and Yen Magazine.
That should keep me going til home-time.

Or at least till chocolate treat o'clock (Read : 2pm). x

I fear it may be a short-changed week...
