Morning Business - Mash Up

Lots of mornings rolled into one!
And the end of the energy drink! Hurrah!

I have gone clean.  No, not green - CLEAN.
Clean Living for me!
After all, it is a short walk off a long buffet table to an unhealthy life.

So now it's up to me, my Hello Kitty lunchbox,
home-made sandwiches
and cranberry and blackcurrent juice to whip us into shape.
So far, so good.

And as my Ma'am says,
"First you walk, then you Blog".

Let's grow up and go back in time...
A time when you lived in two houses your whole life - your parents and then your own.
A time when we cooked from raw ingredients and fed ourselves fresh goodness - cupcakes included.
A time when you had to go to the library to find out what a shrew looks like - it's a small woodland creature, not a bird...maybe we can hang on to Google after all.
A time when kids were kids and just hung with other kids doing kids stuff - batteries not included.
A time when I would be scribbling this all down in a journal...Wait. Let's keep the interweb.

A time when you looked out the window to see if a storm was coming, when the milkman and the postman and the guy with the fruit truck were daily gift givers, and a time when the house smelled like freshly baked goods all year round. x

The Easter long weekend looms...
(yes, this post is a week late. Apolgies to my loyal readers. x)
...and the week is winding up early.

Like stockng up for winter - a little early, mind you, the weather where I am continues to be mild and lovely - a new VOGUE US should get me through a day or two when NO SHOPS ARE OPEN! But trust Anna Wintour and the team to leave me devouring a thick issue stuffed with juicy fash and inspiration.

Gather together a crisp energy drink, smiley face cookie, personalised notepad, a touch of purple leopard print, standard delicious sandwich for essentail nutrients, and add the colour and fashion fresh from the newstand, FAMOUS and GRAZIA!
What do we have?????
Voila!
A smorgasboard of earthly delights.
Eat. Drink. Virtual shop.
Let the week begin in earnest.
